a superb way of hiding files in your computer without any software
Hello every one ,This is my5th post .
I am here with a very nice way of how to hide your secret files very properly without the help of any additional software . All you require is a computer with windows xp.
Ok , lets look at how to do this method .
This method will make the folder you want to hide , look like control panel . So , any one who clicks on this folder will land on the control panel . But for u , u will store another file which will act as a key for making this folder look like normal folder .Howzz thatt?
STEP 1
Suppose you want to create a hidden folder in a folder called practise in drive d: .Make the folder in D drive . Inside the folder , make the folder which you want to hide . Let the name of the folder be Display , or any name of the tools inside the control panel , so that he may not doubt this folder .

STEP 2
Now , make a new text document in the folder practise , and then type the following into the text document..
"ren display display.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}" without
quotes .
Save the text document as lock.bat . The '.bat' extension can be done by taking 'all files' from the save as type box in the save menu .STEP 3
Similarly , make another text document in the practise folder , and enter the following into it without quotes .
"ren display.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} display"
then save the text document as "key.bat" .
STEP 4
Go to Tools>>Folder Options .
Then take the file types tab
click the New button .
Then on the file extension text box , type the following without quotes and click ok .
"{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}" .
Ok , now , you have finished the procedure . If you want to hide the display folder , just double click the lock.bat file , and voilaaaa , the displayfolder changed into a control panel shortcut .
Now , if you select the display folder , u will land on the control panel .
If you want to restore the folder to its original state , simply double click the key.bat file , and it will restore to its original state .
NOTE ::
For efficient hiding , you have to place the lock and key file some where else .
For example , if you place the lock.bat file in some other directory , then you will have to modify the content inside the bat file like this without quotes.
"ren d:\practise\display d:\practise\display.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}"
ie , u will have to add "d:\practise" in front of display in this case .
